Prices Include:
Unlimited
mileage, 24HR backup service, insurance to Spain and to
all additional drivers, collision damage waiver (CDW)
with no excess amount, which covers for damages to the
hire car in the event of an accident only when proved
with police accident report, Theft waiver, VAT and all
taxes. |

|
Drivers:
Minimum age: 21 years. Maximum age: No limit. Drivers
MUST hold a valid driving licence. |

|
Baby, Child and Booster Seats:
We have either rear facing baby seats intended for
children to approximately 6 month old, forward facing
child seats for children to approximately 3 years old
and booster seats for children to approximately 5 years
old. They are charged at 15 euros per seat and per
week. They must be fitted by a parent or guardian.
They need to be booked in advance, taking the risk of
availability problems on arrival. |

|
Border Exit – Green Card into Spain:
Vehicles can only be taken into Spain, which is already
included on the price paid. Full insurance cover and
full breakdown assistance is still provided. If we are
not aware that the vehicle is being taken out of
Portugal, the vehicle
will not be covered. |

|
Deposit: We do not
charge a reservation deposit so you do not need to send
your card details over the net.
When collecting the vehicle you need to be in possession
of a valid credit card. This enables us to authorise a
security deposit, which covers any parking or speeding
fines, un-insured parts of the vehicle, petrol charges
if applicable, and in the unlikely event that a claim is
made when the insurance has been invalided. |

Faro Airport Meet and Greet -
On arrival you must proceed
to the Rent-a-Car Desk located in CAR PARK 4. Out of
the baggage reclaim hall, you will enter into the
arrivals hall; at this point turn left and after 15
meters you should exit the building trough the first
exit doors on your right hand side, just before the faro
airport cafe. Cross over the road right in front of
you and trough the sidewalk follow the signs saying
“pre-booking rent-a-car” colored in blue. You will
be greeted at the Desk by one of our representatives who
will complete the paper work and show you to your
vehicle. As we never have queues, when you get there
just look for our representative straight away. |

|
Car Return:
At Faro Airport you should return your car to the car
park – Car Park 4 rows H or I. |

|
Out of Hours:
A 15 euros fee will be charged per booking for Late
Arrivals or Out-of-Hours collections between 22.00 and
8.00. |

|
Rental Period:
The minimum rental period as well as the minimum charge
is 3 days of hire. Prices are calculated on the basis of
24-hour units, with a grace-period of 3 hours. When car
is returned 3 hours later then pick up time, one day
extra will be charged. |

|
Fuel:
No charge when vehicles are returned with the same
amount of fuel. When the vehicle is returned without the
same amount of fuel, a charge of
30 euros will be made
per quarter tank of missing fuel. Wrong petrol/diesel
usage will be charged according with the expenses. |

|
Damage to Vehicles:
A damage report must be completed by the driver for any
damage to the vehicle, however minor it is. If a
collision with another vehicle occurs, a police report
and case number must also be supplied when returning the
vehicle. We strongly advise you to contact us in the
event of any damage. If this procedure is not followed,
the insurance cover could become invalidated, leaving
clients liable for all damage. |

|
Insurance:
The insurance provided in the rental does not cover in
any occasion tyres and/or wheel damage, interior damage,
damage to the roof, damage to the underside of the
vehicle, damage to the glass parts of vehicle (including
the windscreen), loss of the car key, loss of the
vehicle documents and any damage to the vehicle caused
by yourself due to a negligent driving. Personal injury
and personal effects are NOT covered as well; however
these are normally covered by clients travel insurance
policy. |

|
Important: The
insurance becomes INVALID if vehicles are loaded with
more passengers than their stated capacity, also if
drivers are found to be under the influence of alcohol
or drugs. Insurance cover will also lapse in the event
of negligence, for example if vehicles are taken off
road.

|
Vehicles:
Although our vehicles are all recent models, we
recommend that you should check them before leaving the
airport (lights, indicators, tyres, etc.). If not
completely satisfied, this is the time to say so and, if
necessary, ask for another vehicle. Every effort will be
made to supply the specified model, however it may be
necessary to supply an equivalent (or better) vehicle as
cars are changed frequently to ensure that the latest
models are available. |

|
Mechanical Problems:
Any mechanical problem with the vehicle should be
reported as soon as possible. Within a maximum limit of
24-hour a replacement vehicle will be provided or the
problem solved. |

|
Delivery/Pick up Locations:
We provide cars not only in Faro
airport, but also at any location in the Algarve that
you may request; in order to deliver to accommodation,
we will require full address, contact number of the
hotel or villa and also a mobile number.
A surcharge of
30 euros each way will be charged locally.
Time for delivery and pick up, always needs to be
confirmed by Drive4Fun in advance; although we like to
be punctual, traffic always needs to be taken in
consideration. |
